The Kennel Club Breed Health and Conservation Plans use evidence and data to identify the health and welfare problems in each pedigree dog breed. Priorities are established and Action Plans drawn up. For the vizsla the most recent plan was published in 2021, after collaboration with the Breed Health Coordinator. The two breed Associations (the Hungarian Vizsla Club and Hungarian Vizsla Society) were consulted – and approved the final draft.
